In Memory of Kyle R. Hargens

Kyle Raymond Hargens, age 63, of Lake City Florida, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Ida Grove Rec Center of Ida Grove, Iowa. Celebrant Jared K. Zobel will officiate.

Kyle Raymond Hargens, the son of Ray and Leone Hargens, was born on September 21, 1961, in Ida Grove, Iowa. He grew up in Ida Grove and graduated from Ida Grove High School with the class of 1980.   

Kyle moved to Lake City, Florida, to attend college and received a degree in Golf Course Management. He began his career as a golf course superintendent in South Carolina. For the last 15 years, Kyle has been an independent contractor for Courier Services in Lake City, Florida.

Survivors include his sister Alice (Gary) O’Brien and her family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Leone Hargens; and three sisters: Rebecca, Audrey, and Lenore Hargens.
