My sister Bonnie and I will be having lunch with Herb and Joan this weekend in Miami. We will make a toast to Ron for the fun times we had on the tennis court, the dinner table at the Turin's, Ron's friendship to our uncle Wayne, and most importantly for the unparalleled service Ron gave to the community. I always knew I emailed him a good joke when RJ sent a reply that it made his favorites.

My Deepest Sympathy to you all. Ron was a good man and always treated us neighborhood kids great ! I still remember when he took me as his guest to the father-son banquet one year at your church since he had all daughters. He was such a devoted spearhead when it came to making Odebolt the best it can be. I will miss him, yet always remember him fondly for all he did for me and the times we had together. He, as well as all of you, are in my thoughts and prayers.”
It was so sad to hear about the passing of Ron. I have known him nearly all of my life. He was a great person to do business with and to talk to about whatever was going on in the community. I last talked with him at Odebolt Creek Days. He was riding in a convertbile at the start of the Creek Days Parade. It was nice to talk with him and see he was doing well. He'll be greatly missed! - Evan Bensley”
This morning, through Eldo Moeller, we heard of Ron's death. We are thinking of you and remembering the many fond memories we shared together. He will not only be missed by each of you, but also, by his contributions to the city of Odebolt.
Our thoughts are with you. We will be in touch later.
With all of our love--Jerry and Donna”
Our condolences to all of you. Very sorry to read of the passing of our friend and classmate. As you know, Ron and I (Jim) were very close buddies all through grade school and high school. We kept our Moms, Esther and Ruth, on edge a lot of the time. But, Ron and I sure had fun. 64 years since our graduation from OHS. We'll miss seeing Ron at Creek Days! May God bless you, Elaine & family, and may he rest in peace! Our love,
Jim & Dorothy Barkley”
Just saw that Ron passed away. A shock to me, not knowing if he had been sick or what happened. He was a classmate of mine, the class of 1950. We had several class reunions through the years and he was one who never missed. Many happy times were had at these reunions. As was said, "the class of 50 was the most nifty". Don't know where the time went but it went too fast. My condolences to you his family. I'm sure you have many happy memories of him. God's Blessings to all of you.
