In Memory of Angeline R. Peters
Angeline R. “Angie” Peters, age 86, of Odebolt, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Odebolt Nursing and Rehab Center of Odebolt, Iowa.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, March 17, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church of Odebolt, Iowa. The Reverend Kevin J. Freese will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Christensen – Van Houten Funeral Home of Odebolt, Iowa. Angeline Peters was born on October 6, 1927 to Sena Buss. Angeline met Ralph Peters and the couple was united in marriage on June 17, 1944. The couple were blessed with a daughter, Peggy.
The couple made their home on a farm near Vail, Iowa where they farmed. The couple retired to Odebolt, Iowa in 1985.
Angie loved to work in her garden and go fishing. She enjoyed helping other people, and traveling if she had the opportunity.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Peg (Win) Ruppel of Kiron, Iowa; two grandchildren, John and Jennifer; three great-grandchildren, two step grandsons; several step great-grandchildren, friends, and other relatives.
Angeline is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; and her brother, Garret Buss.
