Jamie Alan Hinrickson, age 35, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on November 29, 2015 at his residence of Ida Grove, Iowa.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Christensen – Van Houten Funeral Home, of Ida Grove, Iowa. Father Richard D. Ball will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Christensen – Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa. Jamie Alan Hinrickson was born on September 1, 1980 in Ida Grove, Iowa, to Dale and Cindy (Lichtenberg) Hinrickson.
Jamie was baptized in the Baptist Church in Ida Grove, Iowa. He attended school and graduated from Battle Creek- Ida Grove High School in 1999.
After high school Jamie went on to further his education at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City, Iowa. Jamie completed a welding course which earned him a welding certificate. He then completed one year of Diesel Tech.
In 2006 Jamie met Alisha Baughn and they were blessed with a son, Jordyn. The couple united into marriage on November 17, 2007 and Jamie welcomed Alisha’s three boys: Gary, Jerry, and Gerad. The family made their home in Ida Grove, Iowa.
Jamie was currently employed as a welder in Storm Lake, Iowa. He enjoyed spending time with his family and looking after his boys.
Jamie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ervin and Alvina Lichtenberg; aunt, Penni Wilcox-Henrichs; and uncle, Jeffrey Lichtenberg.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Alisha Hinrickson of Ida Grove, Iowa; son, Jordyn Hinrickson; step sons: Gary Baughn, Jerry Baughn, and Gerad Baughn; parents, Dale and Cindy Hinrickson of Ida Grove, Iowa; brother, Jason (Val) Hinrickson and daughter Paige of Spirit Lake, Iowa; sister, Becky (Lance) Juelfs and daughters Mercedes & Elle Juelfs of Holstein, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Albert (LaVonne) Hinrickson of Ida Grove, Iowa; and extended family and friends.
