Patricia Claire Kallas was born on October 7, 1936, in Hampton, Iowa, to Donald and Flossie (Fischer) Windelow.

Pat grew up in Hampton, Iowa, where she attended school at Hampton High School and graduated with the class of 1955. After school Pat went on to pursue a degree as a cosmetologist by attending beauty school. Pat earned her degree and kept busy fixing hair for many years.

While looking for a pair of shoes, Pat met the love of her life Tony Kallas. The couple were united into marriage and blessed with three children: Chris, Becky, and Steve.

Pat will be remembered as a kind, loving, giving, supportive mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren and family. An avid Hawkeye fan, Pat also liked going on trips to the casino and watching her grandchildren sing karaoke. She had a soft spot for all animals especially horses and her pup Sly. Pat liked all types of music but you could find her rocking out to her all-time favorite Aerosmith.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Chris (Donna) Kallas of Mapleton, Iowa, Becky (Darren) Swanson of Ida Grove, Iowa, and Steve Kallas (special friend, Ann Wonder) of Ida Grove, Iowa; special friend, Tony Kallas of Ida Grove, Iowa; grandchildren: Adam, Tara, Jacob, Joey, Dustin, and Sarah; great grandchildren: Gabe, Ethan, Isabel, Addison, Isaiah, Chelsey, Carson, and Chloe; sisters-in-law, Marge Kallas of Mason City, Iowa and Joan Windelow of Pella, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and beloved friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Flossie Windelow; grandson, Benjamin Huff; brothers, Larry Windelow and Steven Windelow; sister JoAnne Orchard.
