In Memory of Priscilla Mae "Sal" Bresnahan

Priscilla “Sal” Bresnahan, age 84, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. Father Richard D. Ball will officiate, committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Ida Grove, Iowa. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 7:00p.m., on Monday, November 21, 2016, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Gove, Iowa. Born on January 2, 1932, in Sac County, Iowa Priscilla Mae Francis was the daughter of Luther and Mabel (Chase) Francis.  She graduated from Odebolt High School with the class of 1951.

On November 18, 1952, she married Robert G Bresnahan at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa.  The couple lived and farmed in the Ida Grove area.  They retired from farming in 2002.

Priscilla was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa and served on the Sacred Heart Altar Society.

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, baking, time with her grandchildren and making rosaries for people who wanted them.

Survivors include her son Dennis Bresnahan, Ida Grove; grandchildren: Jon Bresnahan, Hinton, Iowa; Jeana (Carl) Braun, Lawton, Iowa; Sara (Justin) Oehm, Salix, Iowa; Justin (Lacy) Bresnahan, Sloan, Iowa; great grandchildren: William and Audrey Braun; Treven and Lylee Oehm; and Kinley Bresnahan; sister, Lois Good; numerous nieces, nephews, extend family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mabel Francis; husband, Robert Bresnahan; her son David Bresnahan; brother George (Deloris) Francis; infant brother; and brother-in-law, Jorden Good.
