In Memory of Darrin Osborn
Darrin S. Osborn, age 50, of Battle Creek, Iowa, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.
According to his wishes, Darrin was cremated. A Time of Remembrance will be held 1-5 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Crawford Creek Recreation Area in Battle Creek. Christensen-Huffman Funeral Home of Battle Creek is in charge of professional arrangements.
Born August 8, 1962, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Darrin Scott Osborn was the son of Gordon and Sharon (Baker) Osborn. He grew up and received his education in Eddyville, Iowa.
On July 1, 1995, Darrin was united in marriage to Sharlene Ludwig in Elkhorn, Nebraska. The couple was blessed with three children, Damion, Chelsie, and Dillon.
Survivors include his wife, Sharlene; three children, Damion Osborn and special friend Delaney Smith of Sigourney, Chelsie Osborn and special friend Josh Jochims of Rose Hill, and Dillon Osborn of Battle Creek; five grandchildren and one expected in August; his stepdad, John Simmers of Eddyville; three sisters, Jackie, LeeAnn, and Patty; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents and maternal grandparents, Erma and Dutch Sparks.
