“My deepest sympathy. If I would of had a son I would of wanted him to be exactly like Patrick. Mom and Dad you did an amazing job raising him. He would light a room with that smile. We are so glad we got to have him the short time in our lives. We are going to miss him so much. Hugs and prayers to his whole family ”

“We wish to express our sincere sympathy to Patrick's family. We were so sorry to hear about Patrick. We knew Patrick during our visits to the Half Moon Inn. We are old enough to be his parents (maybe grandparents!) and he was always so kind and waited on us with his big smile. Even if he wasn't our waiter he would often stop to visit with us. He was a wonderful young man and will dearly be missed by his Half Moon family and all his loved ones. Sincerely, Bonnie & Curt Grigg”

“Even though I don't know your family, my heart aches for you all. Our son Ben was a good friend of Pat's. The stories he has shared with us about the times they have had together... I know Ben loved him very much. I too was impressed with his warm friendly character the few times we met. Psalm 34 promises that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted. I pray you know His comforting presence now and in days to come, that Christ's Holy Spirit will bear you up.
With deepest sympathy...”

“Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. I always enjoyed the Patterson kids at school...polite, friendly, kind, hard working. What I remember most about Pat was that he was always smiling. May you carry his bright smile with you in your hearts along with your many cherished memories. May God's love bring you comfort.

“Patrick made a lasting impression on me. Patrick was always friendly, well-mannered and soft-spoken when I saw him.. I have seen other well-mannered young people in our church including his siblings, but what really impressed me was he brought his 2 younger brothers to worship services at St. John's. Rarely will a young person bring their younger siblings to church, let alone a young man, but Patrick did. I don't know any other young man that would do that. It must have been important to him. That says a lot about his character and his faith. I know he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. May the Lord bless you, comfort you and strengthen you during this difficult time. I hope you find peace knowing Patrick is with our Lord in Heaven now.

“Sending all my love to Patrick’s family and friends. He was one of the happiest people I have ever met. He was always full of life and made me smile whenever I saw him. He was a great support to my family and always willing to lend a hand (even when that included getting into a tree with a chainsaw). He will be missed so much and his impact was so large for someone so young. Hoping remembering the great times will ease your pain.”
