“I was saddened to hear of Millie's passing, but rejoicing her arrival in Heaven. She and Lee became good friends with my parents, Bob and Becky Dyar, in Rockport, TX, until their sudden passing in a car accident in November 2007. I called her to let her know, and we remained 'phone friends' over the years ever since, until I lost touch with her when she left her apartment. I loved to hear her stories, and I told her she should record them for her family to have. Her faith in God and her attitude of life were amazing. I miss you Millie! Thanks to the angel at her church for letting me know. ”

“We will miss our Aunt Millie, we always enjoyed our visits with her and she was a wonderful cook. She took care of our son, “Her Boy” when he went to school at Dordt University and his buddies enjoyed her home cooking too. I can see her up in heaven now dragging out her electric roaster and cooking for the whole clan. Rest In Peace dear sweet Millie, wish we could have come out and visited this summer. Love you ❤️”

“Sure wish I could be there with all of you. Your mother and father were great host when my son Sean, Doris Feaster ( Iversen) and myself last visited in the 1990's. Hope all the cousins could get together one more time.

“She’s been Mom to me since I first spoke to her and then married her son. Years later, when my own Mom died, I called and told her. She said she’d be my Mom now. And she was. Thorough the best and worst of times, her faith, patience, support and strength have been an example for me. Our phone conversations generally were two hours in length and sometimes longer. We shared many laughs and tears. What I’ll miss the most is sharing our faith. I know we will meet again in Heaven and what a conversation we will have then! ”
