Judith “Judy” K. Ogren, the daughter of Henry and Matilda (Lorenzen) Tebben, was born on November 10, 1942. She grew up in Wall Lake, Iowa, and graduated with the class of 1960.

After graduation, Judy pursued her certification at LaJames College of Cosmetology in Mason City, Iowa. She worked as a cosmetologist for a brief time before becoming a full time homemaker, which allowed her to stay home with her first two children (Carmen and Dan) from a previous marriage.

On March 5, 1976, Judy married William “Bill” Ogren in Watertown, South Dakota. The family made their home in Leon, Iowa. In October of 1976, they welcomed a daughter named Susan. Bill and Judy owned multiple SuperValu Stores and a Food 4 Less in Wyoming, where they eventually made their home in Cheyenne, WY. In 1986, the family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where the couple owned and operated Ogren ServiceMaster until 1998. At this time, Bill took a job in the trucking industry and Judy enjoyed riding along as they hauled across 48 states stopping to visit their friends and family along the way. In 2002, Judy started a career in the HR department at the Palms Casino & Resort, where she worked until she retired in 2012. In this same year, the couple relocated to Odebolt, Iowa, to be closer to family.

Judy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers & NFL fan who also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and a love of animals. Judy was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church of Odebolt, Iowa, and if you asked her what she treasured in life, her answer would be her faith in the Lord and her family. She was a natural caregiver who always thought of others and gave selflessly daily. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her children: Carmen (Cecil) Moore of Advance, NC, Dan (Susan) Langbein of Carroll, IA, and Susan Ogren of Charter Oak, IA; 6 grandchildren: Taylor (Matthew) Grigsby, Chase Moore, Adam (Anissa) Bolster, Andrew Bolster, Katie (Michael) Montgomery, and Easton Ogren; 6 great grandchildren: Oliver, Hadley, Evelyn, Leo, Emmitt, and Calli; brother Harlen Tebben of Scranton, AR;  several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Matilda Tebben; husband William “Bill” Ogren; and siblings Myrna Cooper and Marlis Tebben.
