Clare “CJ” Edward Triplett, Jr., age 64, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at his residence of Ida Grove, Iowa.

Clare “CJ” Edward Triplett, Jr., the son of Clare E., Sr. and Mary Katharine (Lyman), was born on July 25, 1957, in Cherokee, Iowa.

CJ grew up in Cherokee where he received education graduating from Cherokee High School. Throughout the years CJ has lived in Tucan, AZ, Pennsylvania, and California. He lived his life as a over the road hauler with a million-mile safe driving record. CJ loved to garden, spend time in nature, and loved all of his children. He enjoyed living a simple life and fought a courageous battle with cancer.

Survivors include his children: Maxwell H. Triplett of Ida Grove, IA, Clare E. Triplett III of Vancouver, WA, Tera (Rick) Stroup-Triplett of Raymond, WA, and Sheri (Jeremy) Adesso of Ocean Shores, WA; seven grandchildren: Dylan Fess, Myles Quirk, Lucas Adesso, Liea Adesso, Kaylie Triplett, Matthew Triplett, Jacob Triplett; sisters Lisa (Doug) Hopkins of Ida Grove, IA, Marian Leonard of Las Vegas, NV, and Tamara (Michael) Bender of Savannah, GA; extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and granddaughter Desiree Fess.
