“We each have teachers that leave lasting imprints on us. One of those teachers was Mrs. Stevenson; she was my 4th grade teacher in Holstein. I learned many things that year. One that I will always remember is doing long division on her black board. As I have taught others this way of division, I always remember how she taught it and teach that exact way. After starting my own family, it was always so good see her out and about as she made me feel I was someone with worth. I could not call her anything but Mrs. Stevenson as an adult as she deserved my respect no matter how old I got. Eternal rest grant unto, Mrs. Stevenson, O Lord! May she rest in peace! ”
